WHEATON - State Senator and Lieutenant Governor Candidate Matt Murphy announced today the endorsement of Downers Grove Mayor Ron Sandack, State Senators Brad Burzynski, John Millner and Pam Althoff, State Representatives Suzanne Bassi, Franco Coladipietro, Michael Connelly, Sid Mathias, Bob Pritchard, Randy Ramey, Dennis Reboletti, Sandra Pihos and Ed Sullivan, Jr.
“I am pleased to endorse Senator Murphy because I know he represents exactly the kind of change that is so desperately needed in Springfield,” said Senator Millner.
Last week, Murphy secured House Republican Leader Tom Cross’ endorsement. Lake County Republican Chairman Dan Venturi has also personally endorsed Murphy.
“Matt Murphy has been fighting for lower taxes and less government spending as a senator and I know he will continue that fight as Lieutenant Governor, which is why I am proud to endorse him today,” said Representative Sullivan.
“It is an honor to have the endorsement of so many of my colleagues,” said Murphy. “This endorsement sends a clear signal of the momentum that grows each day with our campaign to restore fiscal and ethical integrity into Illinois government.”
Senator Murphy is running at a teammate of family businessman Andy McKenna, who is running for Governor.
Matt is a member of the Illinois General Assembly representing the 27th Senatorial District, a graduate of The John Marshall Law School and practices law in Chicago.
