Interview with Matt Murphy, Candidate for Lt. Governor

(Rockford) -- State Senator Matt Murphy (R) was in Rockford on Tuesday to attend Amcore Bank's Business Breakfast.
Murphy has been endorsed in his campaign for Illinois Lt. Governor by local state senators Dave Syverson and Brad Burzynski. Murphy spoke out about Governor Quinn's plan to possibly sell the Thompson Correctional Facility to the Federal Government to house terrorist combatants.
"To have Gitmo detainees and felons come to Illinois, when we know they had plans for the Sears Tower, I believe is just putting people at risk," says Murphy.
Murphy is running with candidate for governor Andy McKenna.
